Functions
From 21st birthday celebrations to wedding receptions, musical concerts to children’s Halloween parties, the main hall is very flexible and well equipped.
There are various tables, with cotton cream or white table cloths, that seat from four up to 12. There are 100 comfortable and smart cloth covered chairs, a corner bar and useful serving hatch through to the adjacent kitchen. The lighting can be adjusted to suit the mood and there are fabric drapes that can be hung to lower the apparent ceiling height to create a more intimate atmosphere.
Sports
The main hall measures approximately 16.5m x 8.5m and comfortably accommodates three table tennis tables in use at once. The floor is marked for badminton.
Catering
The modern stainless steel U shaped kitchen has two double ovens with grills, an industrial dish washer that takes 2-3 minutes to complete a cycle and has a mix of plain white, and blue & white crockery with approximately 100 each of dinner plates, bowls and side plates.
Knives, forks and spoons are also provided. There are many boxes of glasses to cater for a party of 120 guests including pint, half pint and wine glasses.
The full height fridge has capacity to pre cool your wines and beer and keep large containers of food fresh. There is also a modern large capacity hot water urn for hassle free tea and coffee.
Meeting Room
Measuring 3.5m x 4.5m with flexible table layout and wider chairs for additional comfort, this is a perfect space for a meeting or training session for up to 10 or so people. With the kitchen just across the corridor, providing refreshments or even a full hot meal couldn’t be easier.
Access
The hall has wheel chair access to the main door and is on one level inside with a separate disabled access toilet. There are of course additional ladies and gents loos which are kept spick and span.
Parking
The hall has its own tarmac car park which can accommodate a number of cars.. There is additional parking along the adjacent roadside. Visitors are requested to park on the hard standing and not the grass verges.
